Thousands of Celtic fans converged on the Trongate in Glasgow’s Merchant City after Brendan Rodgers’ side collected the league title following a win over St Mirren. The plan was put in motion after the five star Celts blew Kilmarnock away at Rugby Park during the week.

In a stunning video captured by drone, Celtic fans can be seen along the Trongate enjoying the sunshine after another title win.

The club and local authority may do better at the next sound of a gathering of this size to open up the use of Glasgow Green to allow supporters to converge, minimising the disruption in the city centre while providing facilities.

North Curve Celtic will be expecting a big turn out at Glasgow Green on Saturday with a march to Hampden before the Scottish Cup Final against Rangers.
